If we do not balance the academic activities and leisure and entertainment using the screen, we will have fatal poisoning on the screen. Our electronic products may become an obstacle to our improvement of productivity, and thus hinder our success. Our ability to procrastinate will only increase with this addiction, and our efficiency will also decline. Internet addiction is often ignored, but we must give it the same importance as any other addiction. Because it is also destructive. If not bigger.

Many people can’t even watch TV on their mobile phones at the same time. It is believed that devices can be used in different jobs, but research shows that multitasking is impossible. Research shows that our brains are much better at processing various tasks than we think. In fact, some researchers believe that multitasking can actually reduce productivity by 40%.
I recently asked 23 teenagers around the world whether they thought they spent much time on the screen, excluding school work(this may be some kind of electronic instrument). 40% of respondents said they spent more than 6 hours entertaining. 26% said it took more than 4 hours. This is only a small part of the many figures representing students’ time spent in the electronics field, but the global figure is much higher. According to a CNN study, the average American teenager does not have more than seven hours of lessons on the screen every day. Other studies have shown that teenagers spend more time online, such as more than nine hours online.
So why do teenagers spend so much time on the screen? Teenagers use the screen for a variety of reasons. Social media is an important reason. Many teenagers of our generation have very active social media. Because social media creates a naturalistic environment where you can instantly contact your friends through instant messaging. Many teenagers chat online for hours, but seldom talk face to face. They want to talk through social media rather than face to face because physical communication is strange to them. Online communication is more efficient than ever, and the global epidemic forces us to use it. Teenagers also overuse social media for fear of missing opportunities. Teenagers have a strong desire to “integrate” and keep up with all current trends. This is completely natural. Social media gives them the opportunity to connect with the rest of the world. The topic of mass culture is widely discussed among teenagers, and social media is a convenient way for teenagers to talk about this topic. Teenagers worry that if they don’t actively participate in social media, they will be isolated from the rest of the world. While it is not bad to take time to keep up with what is happening in the world, as mentioned above, balance is important.
Why is our screen so addictive? According to Ethers, a business person, software applications such as Instagram and Facebook intentionally make users regard mobile phones as drugs. These programmes are designed to increase the number of positions of interest to all and attract public attention. These applications are designed to be addictive. Because the more time an application spends, the more profit it makes. Using these applications may affect productivity, but application developers can gain less from the waste of users’ time.
When asked why they spent so much time on the screen, my respondents answered the following questions:

“Well, I sometimes drag my school work to watch TV programs and YouTube videos. For me, I forget time when I use my device for entertainment.”

I can do nothing but watch the screen, and I can’t go out often, so I think I spent three times as much as I did without Guanna.
I prefer screen life to real life.
What harm does our screen do to us? As the saying goes, anything that is overdone can be poisonous. These platitudes apply perfectly to screen time. Unlimited time on the screen will bring many harms and harmful effects to teenagers. If children and teenagers depend on the screen when growing up, they will become adults who are more toxic to electronic products. Many people of our generation and later have fallen into the network disaster.

For example, you can save your contacts in seconds instead of spending time remembering phone numbers.
